Abstract :
Some WLAN MAC parameters can reflect the wireless communications conditions, and some changes of MAC parameters can improve the performance of WLAN. A QoS architecture is present in this paper, which monitors the MAC parameters and introduces some QoS mechanisms based on the parameters. Performance of WLAN can be improved through use of the architecture.
