Abstract :
Reflector omnidirectionality is not always necessary for efficient anti-guiding of arbitrary polarized modes in low-index core photonic band gap waveguides. In some regimes ldquolowrdquo and ldquohighrdquo index-contrast reflectors can confine ldquobadrdquo TM polarization equally well.
