Abstract
The field properties of plane rectangular plates placed in external low-frequency magnetic fields are investigated by solving a plane eddy current problem with a quasi-analytical approach. A hybrid boundary integral equation for the magnetic vector potential inside the plates is derived from Maxwell´s equations and is solved analytically for plates with different geometrical and material properties
