Abstract :
The ultra-wideband (UWB) scattering characteristics of targets are computed by the method of FDTD with unsplit-field perfectly matched layer (UPML) boundary condition. The scattering waveform and RCS of targets are presented. The computation results of sphere are compared with the Mie series solutions and both are accorded with well. It proves that the method is very efficient. The ultra-wideband scattering characteristics of targets are valuable to targets identification and stealthy technique
