Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a low complexity blind estimation algorithm for array response vector estimation in smart antenna systems. We analyze the previous algorithm to figure out the inherent estimation errors in it. Based on the analysis, we propose an unbiased estimation algorithm which yields more accurate estimates with tolerable increment of computational complexity. Compared with the singular value decomposition (SVD) method, the proposed method requires much less computation to yield comparable estimation results. We investigate the performance of the proposed method via computer simulation
