  • Abstract
Electrical power graduates are produced by departments of electrical and electronic engineering-or similar title-and it is generally true that these offer a wide range of supporting studies that form a broad-based foundation, with a relatively modest degree of opportunity to specialise in power topics. The overall purpose of this contribution is to review some aspects of the present educational scene relevant to power engineering, to comment briefly on trends over recent years and their causes, and to identify a few likely future developments
