Abstract :
The paper studies the evolvement characteristics since the middle 1990s of the wetland structure in Jiangsu coastal areas by making use of historical data and Landsat TM satellite remote sensing image. Also, by means of Mapinfo drawing software, this paper calculates the area transformation matrix in two periods, compares the main types of wetlands in this area by year, and determines after analysis that, the wetland structure in Jiangsu coastal areas has experienced increasingly serious crushing since the 1990s, and it´s necessary to strength dynamic monitoring on wetland structure.
