Abstract :
The standard IEC 61000-4-20:2003 includes the GTEM cell as a measurement facility for EMC emission and immunity testing. The aim of the IEC 61000-4-3:2002 standard is to establish a common reference for radiated electromagnetic fields immunity tests. This paper describes the differences in requirements of fields uniformity assessment between the above-mentioned two standards and also gives suggestions to the performance improvement of GTEM cell according to IEC61000-4-20:2003
