Abstract :
As the active queue management algorithm based on PI controller has an issue of slow response to the change of network traffic, a new AQM algorithm named adaptive parameters controller (APC) is put forward in this paper. By adding self-adaptive mechanisms into proportion controller, it can work well in various network environments and gets fast response speed to the traffic oscillation. Liquid theory is used to build the mathematic model of APC. By using periodic updating method, APC reduces the computational complexity of algorithm effectively. Experiment results show that APC can achieve higher response speed when compared PI controller while keeping good performance in loss rate and link utilization.
