Abstract :
In this paper, a planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) with U-and meanderline-shaped slots (UM-PIFA) is introduced. The proposed PIFA is compact with single feed and single short strip. It operates at the frequency bands of 2.65 GHz for MMDS (multichannel multipoint distribution service) and 8.20 GHz for UWB (ultra wideband). This paper will describe its geometry and performance depending on several parameters
