Abstract
In practical applications, DOA estimation may suffer array model error due to angle-dependent array elements. The effect on the array model error due to it has been analyzed, and computer simulations considering these factors are given. The simulation results show that the array error due to the angle-dependent sensors has significant influence on the performance of DOA estimation, and the estimation error has a special relationship with the direction-of-arrival which is useful from the practical applications point of view.
