Abstract :
This contribution introduces the design of structures to emulate the behavior of some frequency dispersive dielectric or media. The proposed approach consists of the design of planar microstrip filters with an inverse relation of their magnitude and phase responses. This low cost system simplifies the study of all the factors conditioning the precursor formation, as well as its likely mitigation in the receiver end.
