Abstract :
The pattern ellipticity of a double-slot antenna on a silicon lens is investigated using full-wave analysis. Complete full-wave simulations including the matching layer and the low-pass filters are performed for different feed arrangements. Results show that silicon lenses do distort the pattern and result in a reduced ellipticity especially if a dielectric matching layer is not used.
