Abstract :
Auto mobile has become a necessary transport means for people with the development of society. This has made the urban problems of traffic and environment increasingly worse. Intelligent traffic system is capable to improve the traffic efficiency significantly and decrease or alleviate these problems. In this paper, the GPS/electronic map combined navigation system is selected to complete the design and is studied and, as a result, the main problems such as map matching and shortest path analysis based on the real-time traffic have been solved and a vehicle navigation system with low cost and high practicability have been designed. In the end, combined navigation system analysis is discussed with the example of an electronic map of Chengdu City. According to the result, the theory and method are both effective.
