Abstract :
In order to reduce the equipment downtime and the maintenance cost, the maintenance strategy in hydro power plants has to be progressively changed from time-based maintenance (TBM) to condition-based maintenance (CBM). The digitized modeling (DM) method of hydroelectric generating unit (HGU) is put forward based on the 3D dynamic modeling method and the distributed physical graphic-net modeling method to satisfy the demands of CBM in this paper. And then, the foundations, executive steps, crucial technologies and aim of the DM method are introduced. According to the hydro turbine governing system, the methods and its executive steps of DM method are particularly described with an application example of wobble gate main servomotor. Through introducing device digitized models´ application area in hydropower plant, it is pointed out that the implementation of digitized modeling method in maintenance field is a great progress in course of device operation, maintenance and management.
