Abstract
The speed and maneuvering performance of the heavy vehicles and ordinary passenger cars is analyzed in this paper, and we further study the heavy vehicles´ interruption to the behavior of the drivers nearby. Lane-changing behavior will be seen near the intersection due to different driving destinations. Based on the cellular automaton simulation model, we establish an intersection traffic flow simulation model for port collecting and distributing. By simulations, the average vehicle control delay and queue evaluation length can be got, and eventually we analyze the traffic simulation results through the space-time diagram1.
