Abstract :
In this paper the problem of modelling the electric coupling between the emitting laser diode and the diode detector in an integrated optical transceiver is considered. A method to determine analytically the coupling current through the substrate is presented. A finite element processor is used to evaluate the importance of the direct capacitive coupling
