Abstract
A parallel power converter architecture based on the resonant pole topology is presented which minimizes the output magnetics required for current sharing. A novel current control scheme applicable to both the new parallel architecture and the single resonant pole inverter is described, and equations for piecewise modeling of the parallel architecture are presented. The paper demonstrates that the parallel architecture overcomes some of the major disadvantages of the conventional resonant pole inverter
