Visual Method of Preventing Traffic Accidents Occurred at the Road Intersection in Night

This paper studies the cause of traffic accidents occurred at the road intersection in night. Research status of road intersection safety at home and abroad is summarized. Considering the actual situation of China´s road intersection, five measures as setting perspective barrier, convex mirror, reflection facility, lighting equipment and removing obstacle are proposed in order to prevent traffic accidents occurred on the road intersection at night. This method gives a good idea on economic and effective safety measures at the road intersection.
