Abstract :
Traffic data can be roughly divided into static and dynamic two types, the static data represents background map, traffic network and so on, the dynamic data represents road status such as vehicle flow, float car data (FCD), etc. It is still a issue on how to efficiently organize and visualize traffic data for users to browse traffic information without any flicker. In this paper, we firstly analyzed and classified traffic data, utilizing double buffer graphics method in traffic visualization while designed and developed management system; lastly, a prototype information system has been introduced to test this method, results shows system using this method run more smoothly without any flicker.
