Abstract :
This study discusses the phase-amplitude coupling of semiconductor quantum dot lasers. A plot of the phase/amplitude modulation index ratio as a function of frequency is presented. In particular, the ratio of the phase and intensity modulation indices do not necessarily converge at high frequency due to the carrier capture dynamics.
