Abstract
Phase array radars are designed to tight tolerances in order to meet exact design constraints placed upon the characteristics of their main beam. A numerical and statistical approach will be utilized to investigate the variation of the following key parameters; gain degradation, side-lobe perturbation, beam width variation and beam pointing error (BPE). Their subsequent effect on normal operation of the radar will be looked at in detail in this paper.
