Abstract
This work describes the systematic measurements of the angular dependence of an electromagnetically-induced transparency (EIT) resonance linewidth observed at a room temperature vapor of cesium in the presence of 20 Torr of Ne buffer gas. Moreover, this study measures the angular dependence for a cesium vapor without buffer gas, but under the same experimental conditions. A comparative discussion between the two cases are also presented.
