Abstract :
A simple and compact 60 GHz CPW-fed patch antenna for Switched-beam antenna array applications is presented and investigated. The proposed antenna with a small size of 700 μm × 720 μm is composed of a rectangular strip radiation element fed by a CPW feed line. The proposed antenna has been successfully designed. The simulated results show that the antenna achieves a wide impendence bandwidth from 58 to 62 GHz with return loss less than -10 dB.
