Abstract :
In this paper, a new switched capacitor (SC) pitch extraction circuit using the autocorrelation function is proposed. This circuit extracts pitch frequency as a parameter of human voice in real time, and the maximum error is less than 0.84%. It is possible that the proposed circuit can be integrated into one LSI package, as it is constructed using the SC technique. In addition, a pitch synchronous spectral analyzer is realized by connecting this circuit to an SC discrete Fourier transform (DFT) circuit, and its validity is verified experimentally
