ISDN: The future for telecom VLSI

Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) will create an integrated world telecommunications community with common subscriber, cost-effective, voice and data services over a public digital network. The volume potential of ISDN represents a growth opportunity for telecommunications VLSI manufacturers. Panelists will examine the practical issues and consequences involved in the successful introduction of ISDN with particular emphasis on the role silicon and the semiconductor industry can play.
