  • Abstract
A wideband radar signature prediction method is described. The various time-frequency representation for wideband signatures of radar targets, including the short-time Fourier transform (STFT), the Wigner distribution (WD) and the continuous wavelet transform (CWT), are discussed. Some examples which show the validation of wideband radar signature prediction and the superior performance of time-frequency representation are given. In addition, we illustrate that by multi-dimensional combined time frequency analysis, the electromagnetic scattering mechanism of each scattering center on complex targets can be determined
