Abstract :
Three bipolar chips for a 200Mb/s fiber optic link will be described. The transmitter chip driving an LED has rise and fall times of 1.5ns and 2.5ns, respectively. The two receiver chips with a PIN have demonstrated a sensitivity of -34dBm at 200Mb/s for a 10-9bit error rate.
