Abstract
Scattering and receiving characteristics of waveguide-fed planar slot arrays are investigated. A plane wave incident source field is assumed. The scattered field consists of the physical optics field and the slot scattering. The former is obtained from the induced currents in the finite ground plane with all the slots shorted out and the latter from the moment method solution of the pertinent coupled integral equations for all slot aperture electric fields. Numerical results are presented.
