            Abstract : 
Five program modules for computation of a TWT attenuator is created: the computation program of attenuation distribution along the length from the measured resistance; the computation program of coupling impedance, phase velocity and attenuation from given values of surface resistance (approximation of numerical results from a field method); the computation program of surface resistance from the measured resistance; the computation program of distribution of attenuation along the length from its relation to attenuation on a shelf and total attenuation; the computation program of measured resistance of an attenuator from distribution of its attenuation along length.
