Abstract
An experimental unfocused SAR imaging system has been realized on a personal computer. With this experimental system, windows and their implementations used in unfocused SAR imaging process have been studied. The most commonly used and simplest window in unfocused SAR is the rectangular window. Unfocused SAR with the rectangular window requires the least computation volume, but with the worst sidelobe. Unfocused SAR with other windows generally requires much more computation volume, but with better sidelobe
