Abstract :
A flexible, versatile multi-species sensing method with high selectivity and isotopic resolution operating in an easily accessible NIR spectral range is presented. NIR-diode laser spectrometers show a variety of advantages, like inexpensive NIR-laser and -detector equipment. Furthermore, due to the high spectral resolution there is no cross-sensitivity towards water vapor in the selected spectral range. Low-cost but powerful NIR-diode lasers facilitate isotopic resolution of weak overtone bands.
