Abstract :
An automatic/interactive routing system for building-block custom chips has been developed, which is one part of the Chinese Third Level ICCAD Project-PANDA. The system configuration and the included automation routers are described. Also a preferable design flow is recommended for designers to route a macrocell-based chip by using the routing system. Finally, the experiment result statistics of some examples has demonstrated the performance of the system
