Abstract :
A new design method for IIR and FIR filters is proposed. The realization of these circuits requires only current mirrors and analog switches. A second-order IIR bandpass filter and a linear-phase 4th-order lowpass FIR filter are designed and simulated. The simulation results agree well with the theoretical analysis. The results will be useful for the realizations of fully integrated FIR and IIR filters
