Abstract :
A 30MHz flash ADC using sidewall base contact structure technology will be described. By using NPN transistors operated upside down and PNP transistors with a 800MHz cutoff frequency, a power consumption of 12mW has been acheived, with a 3V supply. Chip area is 1.5mm2.
