Abstract
A novel broadband stacked quasi-yagi antenna using simple feed line is presented. The proposed stacked antenna with the simple parallel feed microstrip lines on the front and the back side of high dielectric substrate provides compact size, wide bandwidth and high gain. The antenna is designed in a wide bandwidth from 7.8 to 12.8 GHz covering the entire X band. The maximum gain is 8.3dBi. The isolation is about 18dB between co-polarization and cross-polarization radiation patterns.
