Abstract :
The detection performance with HRR is very important for target recognition and imaging. The maximum range detection of the radar is a function of signal/noise (S/N). Because the size of the target is larger than the wavelength of the radar and radar range resolution cells, the backscattered power of the target is recorded as a function of time. The method for improving detection performance with HRR radar is investigated. The performance of the correlation filtering is given. The results show that the method improves the target detection performance with HRR radar
