Abstract :
An ultra high resolution (UHR) SAR mode has been designed to bring a very high standard surveillance capability to Thomson-CSF Detexis radars. We present the main characteristics of the demonstrator used for the flight campaigns of spring 97&98. More particularly, we describe the main system parameters, the synthetic bandwidth waveform and some interesting features of UHR images
