Abstract :
A compact stripline bandpass filter using a step impedance resonator has been analyzed and designed. The temperature stability of filters for portable miniaturized communication equipment used in the field is a critical factor. In this paper, through analysis of the resonance characteristic and temperature performance of the filter, it has been concluded that satisfactory temperature compensation can be obtained by selecting the temperature coefficients of the dielectric constants of the dielectric materials. Results of fabrication, measurements and applications show that the filter features stable performance and other advantages
