Abstract
It has been recently shown that angle-dependent complex phase and gain offsets between separately calibrated distributed subarrays can be compensated for during beamforming via a modification of a subspace detection approach. In addition to normal estimation and detection losses associated with such an adaptive filter, an additional loss is incurred using this approach. This loss is derived analytically and compared with previously simulated losses.
