Abstract :
This paper presents aspects of the development of a 35 GHz T/R module for automotive radar applications. The work reported is part of an inter-university project between RWTH Aachen University of Technology, Germany and Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. Components of the T/R module have been designed using linear and nonlinear techniques, were processed at the GMMT H40 foundry and measured at RWTH Aachen. The focus here is on the design and the measurement results of a single-balanced gate mixer and of a frequency tripler
