Abstract
This paper proposes some metaheuristics for the solution of a tasks scheduling problem. Independent tasks with different computational costs and memory requirements are scheduled in a heterogeneous system with computational and communication heterogeneity and memory constraints. Versions of the scheduling problem with and without communications and with constant and variable computation and communication costs are considered.
