Abstract :
Parallel computers seem to be ideal for speeding up simulations of neural nets in experimental research. However, for practical applications, still only little of these systems are being used. This paper discusses some of the reasons and describes a successfully applied implementation on the MUSIC parallel supercomputer (Multiprocessor System with Intelligent Communication)
