Abstract :
The concept of smart home (SH) is extensively popularized; there are a lot of technologies to be continuously utilized and integrated. In this paper, an applicability problem about camera array (CA) in the SH are discussed and solved. This problem is about how to build an effective management method for CA, to ensure that the user´s privacy is not encroached on. We suggest the CA should be controlled based on the open service gateway initiative (OSGi) and UPnP security. Finally, an applied example of CA is addressed in the elder-care center. Simulation results show that the management and application of CA are satisfied.
