Abstract :
This paper presents an analysis of the influence of the body posture in the communication channel from a device placed on the body surface to an external fix station for the 3.1-8 GHz frequency band. Standing and lying down positions are compared and rms delay spread and statistical parameters are extracted to model the channel according to the IEEE802.15.6 proposed CM4 model.
