Abstract :
Eigen-structure based technique is used to jointly estimate the direction of arrival (DOA) of a radar signal and the high range resolution (HRR) profile of a target as seen by a stepped-frequency radar. Real aircraft data is used to demonstrate the viability of the proposed method and a target recognition system is developed based on the extracted scattering information.
