Abstract :
Traditional ad hoc network routing formulations abstract the lower level phenomena. While this simplifies the routing formulations, it is well known that jointly optimized systems routinely outperform their singularly optimized brethren. In this paper we improve upon traditional ad-hoc routing by defining the cross layer joint optimization of an ad-hoc wireless network in the context of a 3GPP long term evolution OFDMA wireless link. Our novel methods incorporate new non-GPS OFDM based geometric aided routing protocols utilizing upon observable time difference of arrival via OFDM physical layer transceiver nodes.
