Abstract :
This paper illustrates the benefits of applying a systems approach to the development of performance requirements for a complex railway upgrade. The Sub-Surface Railway upgrade for London Underground is used as an example. The paper also illustrates the benefits of system level simulation as a verification & validation methodology.
