Abstract :
This paper deals with the rapid modification algorithm for retrieved fixture cases assembly. In this paper, the case assembly is assembled with the parametric and feature-based model. Base on the case model, using pro/toolkit function drive the element and assembly, and generate a feasible solution for current design requirement. At last, a fixture design example is illustrated to show the modification algorithm in this paper. The result shows the case base fixture case modification method promoted in this paper would be helpful to the actual variant fixture design activity
