Abstract
DYMOLA (Dynamic Modeling Laboratory) is a very versatile PC-based object-oriented software that can be effectively used in power electronics education and research. It is capable of detecting state transitions that occur in power electronic systems thereby eliminating convergence issues. Object-oriented modeling capability of DYMOLA makes modeling very easy. Decoupled modeling and simulation is supported. A simulator such as SABER, PSPICE have built-in analysis tools. Other simulators such as DYMOLA-ACSL, Matlab-Simulink need user-created software to do the job. However, these tools work off-line, which is a disadvantage. The features of DYMOLA can be exploited to develop on-line and effective measurement tools. In this paper, such on-line tools have been proposed
